neon tape

Get creative with colored tape.
Why not add a little splash of color to hang up postcards, photos, art?
Who knew tape could work as decor!

flowers, fringe + flow: fun with crepe

May is a month of parties - first communions, graduations,
memorial day and in my family, lots of birthdays!
A stream of tassels, a few pom pom puffs or streamers in bright colors
can surely add a festive element to any party this season.

rock + shell collection

My daughter and I collect heart-shaped rocks and shells.
Not that I would remember which beach each came from,
but as a collection they remind us of where we've been.

artful arrangement

What makes this a great space?
A simple neutral sofa with the contrast of modern classic Barcelona chairs.
Shades of blue used throughout creating rhythm and balance.
These design elements against a simple white and wood backdrop
keeps it from looking cluttered.
But the wall of art and photographs is the focal point of this room.
Although it may appear as if it were casually put together,
surely a lot of thought went into the framing and placement.

shell wall at lilly pulitzer

A wall of shells in the typical bright colors of Lilly Pullitzer
adorns a dressing room in their Sarasota, Florida store.
So very eye-catching and cool.

The opposite wall is detailed in shells with names.

art displays

I love the tight-knit horizontal row of pictures
grouped over this desk.
When photos or any objects are displayed unconventionally, it's more interesting and has a stronger impact.

This grouping works because each piece is simple
and they compliment each other.
I love the way they have it displayed to the floor.

This wall is eye catching because of the
common subject matter and great colors.
